This coffee offers notes of peach, mandarin, cherry, and vanilla. The aroma opens sweet and fruit-forward right out of the bag, warm and inviting before you ever taste a drop. In the cup, ripe stone fruit leads the way with a softness and round sweetness that makes it approachable and satisfying across any brew method.

Grown at 2,150-2,300 MASL in Deri Kebele, Guji, this lot is sourced from smallholder farmers who cultivate Ethiopian heirloom varieties in some of the country's most storied coffee-growing terrain. The Ephtah team receives the cherry at their Deri processing station, where it's naturally processed and sun-dried on raised beds for 13-16 days with the full cherry intact. That slow, extended drying is what allows the fruit's sugars and mucilage to work their way into the seed, building the sweetness and depth you taste in the cup.

Sourcing from the Ephtah station connects us to the smallholder farming communities of Deri Kebele, where heirloom coffees have been grown for generations across the high hillsides of the Guji zone.

Your purchase helps support smallholder farming communities in Ethiopia's Guji zone, sustaining heirloom coffee traditions and the livelihoods of the families who grow them.

Please Note: Order anytime during the week. Orders placed by Sunday at midnight will be roasted Monday and shipped Tuesday. We roast once a week to ensure freshness.
