Sudan Rume originates from the Boma Plateau in South Sudan, near the Ethiopian border, one of the genetic birthplaces of Coffea arabica. The variety is low-yielding and delicate, but produces an extraordinary cup. Some trees at Villarazo yield yellow cherries, a rare natural mutation that Arcila has specifically cultivated and separated into this distinct offering.
